Nice campsite although only warm showers. Metro only 5 minute walk away and Amsterdam is 15 minute on the train. Perfect for Amsterdam.

Lovely campsite within easy 15-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride into Delft. Good cycle tracks in the area.

Aire – Port de Plaisance, Pont a Mousson, France GPS: N48.90296 E6.06088 Visited April 2017  9.50 euros per night
Beautiful Aire right on the river with lovely views and just over the bridge to the town of Pont a Mousson.

Lovely campsite on the lake beautiful views but a bit out of the way and steep hill and steps down to the lake. Ok for an overnight stop.

Stunning campsite on the lake with wonderful views of the Alps and an easy 5km bike ride along dedicated cycle track to Annecy. One of the most beautiful cycle rides we have done into Annecy.

Campsite: Le Bois De Cornag, Vizille, Grenoble, France N45°5’11” E5°46’12” Visited: April 2017 17 euros a night with ACSI
Nice comfortable feeling campsite shaded by large trees. Toilets/Showers clean, bright and airy. A lovely cycle ride along the river. Easy 15 min walk into the centre of Vizille town to the Chateau and beautiful gardens where the French Revolution started. Bus from the centre of town into Grenoble 30 minute ride & 4 euros return each. (Not particularly impressed with Grenoble) Fresh Pizza sold from 6pm-9pm every night. Bar, snack bar, swimming pool not open yet.

Campsite:  Fossa Lupara, Sestri Levante, Italy.  N44°16’25”  E9°25’21”

Lovely quiet site,  good showers.  The Friendly owner who runs taxi service to the station for only 4euros each way. Nice restaurant. Can walk into Sestri Levante sea front 2 km.  Great for getting to and a good base for Cinque Terre, Genova, Rapallo, San Margherita, Portofino and Camogli by train.

Good stop off on way to Venice. Not much there.

Nice site, Good location as bus stop into Venice just outside the campsite. 3 euros return each.  Lovely new shower block with hot clean showers.  small shop on site.  

Campsite:  CampingIN Stella Maris, Umag, Croatia  N45°27’3″ E13°31’21”

Lovely site, good hot clean showers, (not push button).  Large resort with lots of lagoons, restaurants, bars and swimming pools.  Lovely easy cycle ride into Umag.

Campsite:  Aminess Sirena, Novigrad, Croatia  N45°18’54” E13°34’33”
Visited: 8/9th May 2017  19 euros a night with ACSI
Nice site, lovely shower block. Resort site with hotels where you can use their swimming pools and restaurants. Bike hire. Bike and cycle path into Novigrad. 2km.

Campsite: Porto Sole, Vrsar, Croatia  N45°8’30”  E13°36’8”
Visited:   16th May   20 euros a night with camping carnet and age concession
Pitches 1-9 are right on the front overlooking the sea but you pay 3 euros per night more.  Beautiful pitch so relaxing looking out to the sea.  Very easy walk into the small fishing village of Vrsar with lots of lovely restaurants and bars.

Campsite:  Polari, Rovinj, Croatia  N45°3’46”  E13°40’30”
Visited:  27th May    17 euros a night
Not as impressed with the site as previously mainly due to building works but will try the other campsite to the North of Rovinj next time.

Campsite: Village Medulin  N44°48’51” E13°55’54”

Lovely campsite on a peninsula. The village is right outside the site.  Set in a forest of pine trees with a view of the sea in all directions.  3 nice restaurants on site as well as plenty in the village.

A nice site near beach and walking distance to 3 bays with lots of restaurants and bars. Grass Pitches.

Campsite:  Njivice, Krk Island, Croatia   N45°10’10” E14°32’49”
Visited: 6th June       17 euros a night
Nice site, large pebble pitches. Nice showers. Lovely bay.

Campsite: Falkensteiner Premium Camping, Punat, Krk  N45°0’58”  E14°37’44”
Visited: 11th June     17 euros
Didn’t particularly like to site although perhaps a pitch looking over the sea might have been better. A very small village which we were not particularly impressed with. A nicer area is at  the opposite end to the village.

Campsite: Medveja, Lovran, Croatia  N45°16’13”  E14°15’56”
Visited 13th June  15 euros
Lovely campsite which we are visiting for the 3rd time.  Lovely comfortable feel to the site. Nice shade.  Beach outside camp and bus across the road into Lovran and Opatija. Beautiful coastal walks although the walk into Lovran from the campsite is quite long and part coastal path and part road with no pavement.  Taxi back from Lovran 30kuna.

To stay at Carcassonne ACSI site
Campsite:  A l’Ombre des Miconcouliers
Trebes (Languedoc-roussillon area)
Co-ordinates:  N43°12’24” E2°26’31”

This was different from the one we stayed at the previous year although it was easy enough to get into the town by bus and only 1 euro each.
